first aid courses - Bucket - 1 September 2012 Planning to do a first aid course before the end of the year, seeing as its half an hour at best for a medic to get here. But which one is better in your opinion(s) Red Cross or St. Johns ambulance ? Or is it much of a muchness. RE: first aid courses - NorthernRaider - 1 September 2012 Much a muchness, try your local NHS Ambulance service very often they run FA courses as well and they tend to be more dynamic and up to date. RE: first aid courses - Melissa15 - 1 September 2012 I done the standard 28 hr course with the red cross a few years ago, it was free as I volunteered with them. I learned some things but all of it is in the first aid book... so it was just practicing the hands on things and getting the certificate. RE: first aid courses - bowdrill - 15 September 2012 Yeah just done a red cross first aid every bit helps and hands on with some One there to point out were u are going wrong right is much better so if it's free cant hurt do it Bd RE: first aid courses - Skean Dhude - 15 September 2012 They used to do lots of free course but no longer. I'm looking at booking a session in the next few months. |
