Crosbow - Metroyeti - 29 September 2012

I have a pistol crosbow,just wondering were I could get a spair string and bolts? Any recomendation of a shop? Is there any other spare parts I should get?

Im also after a proper crosbow so any recomendations for them?

I know sod all about archery. How do I store and look after bow strings?

i think you can get special wax which is tailored to be better, but it doesnt really seem to matter, it'll extend the life of your bowstring! its good to use it after every shooting session too, heres some info on bow strings

personally i use candle wax and it works fine Smile then again my crossbow is fucked anyway and i dont use it muchTongue

Just curious.
What do you use your pistol crossbow for?
It's not much use for hunting (even though that's illegal) and for self defense it's not too hot either.

Just a bit of fun/targets. Got a recurve bow wich I could hunt with.

My pistol bow bounces off my target at 20 yards but still pretty accurate.
