Dirty Brits?? - bigpaul - 6 October 2012

http://uk.lifestyle.yahoo.com/uk-unhygenic-during-flu-outbreak-231450014.html i have been saying this for years, and not just in a flu outbreak but in general! people dont seem to use tissues or handkerchiefs any more but just sneeze, either into their hands and wipe it in their clothes or straight into someone elses face.....thats why i try to avoid crowded places if at all possible.

I know it is often very difficult to achieve but preppers SHOULD avoid all forms of public transport where ever possible. Buses, Taxis, Trains, Trams, Tube, Planes have more negatives than positive

Hygiene ( poor across the board, spitting, fecal matter transfer, vomit, germs)
Security ( to many spooks and blues checking travellers so most BOBS and EDC bags would get siezed)
Hazard ( risk from terrorists, muggers, soccer fans, vandalism)
Convenience ( dont go where you want when you want)

RW They say the biggest selling items in Durham city is Pot Noodles and the slowest selling items are bars of soap and deodourant

living in a rural area most people HAVE to have their own transport, their IS a very basic bus service here but it dosent go EVERYWHERE we want to go, and can you imagine trying to bring back ALL your prepping supplies on the bus?? and to go anywhere on a bus-from here- takes hours.

With the cost of rural bus trips rocketing, it's still cheaper to use a car.

I hate spitters/ nostril pressing snot firers. Footballers are a bad example. should have their wages docked for doing it.

A great reason for carrying some hand sanitizer as an edc item. I'm not fan of public transport but sometimes needs must.

i am a dog owner and yes i do pick up after my dog....poo bags only cost £1 for 100 thats 1p each! what i hate more than people who dont pick up is ones who pick up and then leave it hanging on bushes...what, the "poo fairy" is going to remove it?? they've turned something that is bio-degradeable into something that isnt!!
