when we say wtshtf its already in play we are going down to road NOW it will be no supprise to any of US things DON,T just happen THEY ARE PLANNED there may well be ten reasons for a TRIGGER event THEY could care less which one but i can FEEL it coming and my fear is sooner rather than later...... i doubt the usa will even have a vote for the presidency...... ?.... prepper1

You're assuming the Cold War doctrine of MAD remains valid. It doesn't though. Modern warheads are of the kilotons range, not Cold War megatons.
What TPTB want is a revolution in political thinking worldwide - at the level of the general public. The best way to do this is a nuclear war because nothing, not even a cataclysmic pandemic, has the dramatic political capital of mushroom clouds towering above a nation's cities.
