RE: Asda deals - bigpaul - 21 October 2012 we're a bit short on supermarkets here, we've got a small Co-op in town..about a mile away, then the nearest other supermarkets (Waitrose and Lidl) are 8 miles away, the nearest Tesco's(where we go once every 3 weeks) is 23 miles away, Morrisons 25 miles away and Sainsbury's is 25 miles away, our nearest Asda is 20 miles away.....which is why we do most of our shopping at LIDL! RE: Asda deals - Metroyeti - 21 October 2012 Got a mini asda on my doorstep, big ones an 8mile walk or a ferry trip away. Also had heinz familly fridge pack beans for £1 only got 2013 date though. RE: Asda deals - Tibbs735 - 21 October 2012 Look out for market stalls. There's one that does the round in all the small towns near me, they look like they pick up random stuff from the distribution warehouses. Stuff like 2kg of mixed beans for £2, Tinned margarine, 3 for £1, RE: Asda deals - Madgirl151 - 21 October 2012 Metroyeti, you should try b & ms, there's quite a few up here and they are great, I always go there first and just get the remainder and any decent deals at the local asda which is quite large |
