Broken toes before the rain even started?Im surprised there's not much reporting of the 2-3 ft of snowfall further west, that volume of snow would've crippled the UK.
Its all useful propaganda for my OH who is only tolerating my preparations.

yeah we suck
other countries who are used to snow are totally fine, like in slovenia all the farmers will come out in their tractors and spend the day tending to the roads and towing people who get stuck, same when its a big storm, they'll take the trees out the road to help eachother they dont rely on "officials" to come and clean things up

I think you will find that most of the country folk do that in this country its the towns and cities that suffer roll on when I can move back to wales
