That "free speech" bunch can go hang!
The poppy fellow showed utter disrespect and knew what he was doing!
The skateboarding idiot needs to have have been turned over to the crowd.
They both need the beating as described earlier in the thread.
If these two fools think doing as they please in such fashion is their right, then let those who were offended also as they please (i.e beat the cr@p out of them)! Freedom of speech and expression, right?
S13, you really have a big heart but I disagree slightly with your point. Maybe I am just turning more ruthless.
While they have such precious freedoms, there is no law I am aware of that allows them to cause such offence with impunity.
Yes, protect these freedoms but also set reasonable limits is the way to go, I think.
I wonder if the cops would let me have a go at either or both of them...

Although I do have a big heart, I think I would still kick the poop out of them. Even the skateboarder, of which I used to board. So I think the skateboarder would get double the beating, for giving us a bad name (even though I've not been on my board for over 5 years...weird how we associate ourselves with things we no longer do).
Although I want to show TTD/L as much respect as I can, I risk dishonouring them by kicking the living poop out of the guy. However, I do believe I would at least give the guy an ear drum bursting slap, followed by the words "Every time you hear that buzzing sound, or your ears start bleeding again" you'd better remember that people died for you.

Those B's are lucky we cannot get a hold of them...!
I would be very happy to kick their stupid backsides. Those slaps would certainly remind them for a long time to come.
Maybe my great uncles and my neighbour's grandson along with so many countless others may sleep easier...
I really DO NOT understand why some folks have to be so offensive especially when they have the freedom to do that because others paid such a high price to give them that same freedom.

They're being 'cuntroversial' (that is the correct spelling, by the way).
The biggest problem is that those guys, if (preferably 'when') they get the poo kicked out of them, become martyrs, and that's the last thing we want them to become.

But that again comes down to violation of rights and freedoms that were so hard won.

Those free speech folks are more about irresponsible behaviour and speech than the freedom they advocate and then abuse.
They really hack me off big time.
