Taunton Flooding!!! - Scythe13 - 21 November 2012

Hi everyone.

Crazy flooding!!!

Some places are neck deep (5feet!!! No joke)

Just to let everyone know we're all good over here. I'm actually over in Bristol training for the Security Guard job.

The wife is fine too. She's borrowing a friends kayak to go check on our cats.

Guess who's please we have food stored? Damn right she'll be able to cook hot food when she gets back.

Weather forcast says........everyone in the area is f**ked!!!

its not just Taunton, its all over the south west. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2235946/UK-weather-Britain-flood-alert-forecasters-predict-months-rainfall-just-days.html check out the view of farmland from Glastonbury Tor-this is what The Levels will be like PERMANENTLY when the pumps go off.

Just waiting for the sheeple to start saying
(a) They had no insurance
(B) The gummint should do something to protect them.

I liked the general store owner down SW way this morning who said he had been flooded twice in 12 years so now everything he sells that is floor level is now kept in big plastic barrels, when he get a warning from the floodline people he just puts the lids on the barrels and it protects his stock.
