At the end of the summer the stores were selling off all the swiming pools. I bought two large size swimming pools that hold 3600 litres for £10 each. Plan is to assemble them somewhere safe before my stored water runs out.

Personally, I think I have water sorted but you never know so I'm always looking at alternatives and will be building a sand filter when it settles down.

It's a bit minging at first, but when you think about it, it's all good.

Looking at your toilet, if you open the bulk head (really can't think of the name of it) that stores loads of water that gets flushed into the toilet bowl, the water in the holding tank bit is tap fresh, providing you look after your toilet....no really, it's minimal care required. Just don't let scank build up and it's good to drink. But please remember, don't drink from the bowl!!!
