Bag.......Quitting the project. - Scythe13 - 18 March 2013

Hi everyone

This is just a quick update about my modified bag update.

It looks WAY TOO military, and, as a result, I'm chucking the project away.

Some of the added compartments included:

Air Pistol concealed carry pocket, including small pencil style elastic for some 12g CO2 cylinders.

Underside (bottom of the bag) small access pocket for a knife or 2 (thank you Beardy for the extra small knives to try out).

Back of bag zip-tie quick access sleeve.

Hidden internal pocket for cash.

Although it's a failed project, as a bag, it's awesome....but too military for EDC, but too small for GHB or BOB.

It's okay to post about failures, and possibly not necessary to do, but for me, I thought this worth posting due to the hidden pockets and hopefully the ideas they provide.

Admittedly sometimes you want to blend in and not look military. But there are times you may need to intimidate and look like your armed to the teeth, to prevent people trying anything to start with (like riding on the bike, yoiu WILL stand out, so best look badass!) My BOB IS a military bergan. But for some reason, it doesn't actually look that military in olive drab. My DPM one stands out a bit.

So no need to chuck it, just use it for the right occasion... like when you get that Rokon!

That's a shame Scythe!

I hope you have more success with those Bug out Underpants you were talking about in the pub a while ago.

The pants are coming along a treat. Fitted with rapid response razor wire deployment system.....want to try them out? haha

are you dumping the bag S13 or unpicking it? might be worth sticking it in the swap and barter section

I've ripped way too much of it apart. If you want it, you'll get it then regret it. I've taken off almost everything, then redone it. Some has worked, and some has not. But, on average, it's more destroyed than not. It's just a pity I didn't recognise my dislike for the bag before I did so much work on it.
