I've helped folk before from homeless drunks that have fallen and injured themselves to old folk and lost kids, but more and more i do question myself should i do this only to put myself at risk.

there are 2 sets of laws I live by.

The first is for when society is going well in which I live by the Buddhist general life style of the 5 precepts, meditation and helping others when help is needed.

The second is for when society isn't working or has collapsed and it is very basic....Survive at ANY cost and stick to myself and mine alone and Trust No One Else and Help No One Else and avoid all contact with everyone at all times.
