saw a large solid looking Red Deer in the woods near the BOL yesterday.

yep, it went into the woods, that's the woods the wife owns but we don't have the title too, nice and handy for the BOL cottage. I also know some woods nearer home where the deer lay up during the day.
we have Red and Roe deer around here, haven't seen any of those Munkjack that you seem to get oop north.
