My Threat Risk Levels - Mopster - 8 June 2013

I don't know if anyone has done one of these before but here is mine:

Threat Level 0:
Nothing out of the ordinary.

No worry.

Threat Level 1:
Murders close to home.
Shortage of non-consumables in shops.
A lot of dogs barking.
Abundance of birds near area. (animals normally detect things first)

Not much worry.

Threat Level 2:

Mass murders in country.
Shortage of consumables in shops.
Cold or hot weather. Particularly snowy weather.

Slight worry.

Threat Level 3:

Some of the above.
Mass murders close to home.
Shortage of consumables in most shops.
Suspicious incidents vaguely reported by the media.

Worrying.

Threat Level 4:

Most of the above.
Military vehicles seen around.
Government meeting called. (might be in secret)
Rumors of SHTF incident.

Big worry.

Threat Level 5:

Nearly all of the above.
Rioting and/or looting.
Military and police out on streets.

Might be worth thinking about bugging out or preparing to bug in.

Threat Level 6:

All of the above.
No society left.

Bugged out.

This is just my list, some people might not think all of these are signs.

I'll have to think about this. I certainly see things differently.

The main thing everyone over looks is the animals. Animals are known to flee cities before major earthquakes.

RE: My Threat Risk Levels - Highlander - 8 June 2013

Level 1,
Striking workers especially anything to do with transport
Government talking about rationing

Level 2
lack of fuel and or food supplies to shops
Government bringing in something like the three day week or trying to limit the problem by other means

Level 3
Civil unrest due to shortages
riots
the spread of troubled areas
By this time all your preps have to be complete

Level 4
Wide spread riots and unrest
murder, robbery, groups hunting food or fuel
The last and final level of warning

Level 5
By this time you are either bugged in or bugged out

This made more sense to me than above !

does that include the chav's?Tongue

RE: My Threat Risk Levels - River Song - 9 June 2013

I don't remember major earthquakes in the UK.

I'm observing patterns of spread of epidemics internationally.
WHO announcements. I'm watching to see if the local hospitals and NHS
is gearing up for pandemic.

Once this starts -- I'm in operational mode.

depends on the event and how many survive the initial event. not all police and army will report for duty, some will stay to look after their families. AND yet again as we have said before, there ISNT the numbers of troops(82,000) and Police(131,000) to police 65million+ population!!
