US "Preppers" Ham Radio Net Frequencies - Jonas - 2 August 2013

RE: US "Preppers" Ham Radio Net Frequencies - Lightspeed - 6 August 2013

Some good joined up thinking here Jonas,

I particularly like the idea of ising the same channel number for all forms of license free radio equipment.

As this site addresses a UK audience, I will make one slightly pedantic observation: Under current licensing regulations in EU, and UK in particular, the highest licences frequency on the 40m band is 7200Mhz and for 80m it is 3800Mhz.

These frequencies are for sure to take advantage of NVIS operating techniques to achieve national networking. In order to legally start using NVIS at the current time we will need to select frequencies taht are compliant with EU Ham licence parameters.
