What do you have to hand now? - BFG Central - 25 August 2013

Ok we all have to be careful what we leave knocking around the house for legal reasons.
Lets just say the SHTF tomorrow morning and you need to defend your family and home and supplies.
Im not talking about knives or guns or baseball bats.

Im thinking more along the line of every day objects that may become self defense items if needed.

What about a garden shovel? The front edge on mine is nice and sharp after all the digging in the garden this year.
Or a can of hair spray?

Any ideas????

Big Grin That made me chuckle

Im thinking about a curtain pole that has those metal pointy ends.
Nothing like a spear to keep the idiots at arms length and a tried and test method for thousands of years.

Deep heat sprayed in the eyes would do the job well and you could leave that almost anywhere in the house without anyone raising and eyebrow.

Rolled up newspaper, kitchen equipment, fire poker, belt, electrical cable.

The thing with Deep Heat is you could have that on your person at work or in a car, even in your coat pocket walking the dog.
Use it like a can of mace/pepper spray but widely available to buy and totally UK legal to carry on your person.

Trust me if you get this in your face you cant see anything and burns like hell or breath properly for ages.
I wont make the same mistake twice Blush

Womderful - "Home Alone" - The ultimate Prepper movie !!

Paintgun is useful. Any kind of stinging spray - You could make your own pepper spray. Anything to slow the attacker down for 5 seconds whilst ou grab your crossbow and finish it.

Allons-y
