Hi guys any suggestions as to where I can buy big bags of flour ? I'm struggling to find anywhere that does them bigger than 1.5 kg, I like making bread and one o those goes in a week easy

just buy loads like I do and tip them all into a blue rubble bag then double it up then tie each bag separately one inside the other.

most wholesalers keep it in 16 and 25kg bags.you would be better off buying a small hand mill and buying grain as flour dosn,t really store for that long

I asked my local place but they basically told me to do one, guess I shouldn't have said about making my own bread, suppose they think if they sell their flour its one less customer buying their bread

I was going to say, someone already said it, FLOUR dosent keep that long, the best sites say keep it as WHOLE grain and grind it when you need it, hence the saying THE DAILY GRIND!!Big Grin

I've had no problems with storing flour. Especially the way you use a lot of it making bread, storage shouldn't be an issue.
I've made bread with 2 year old flour and turned out great.
