Australia has a thriving prepper and survivalist movement especially in Western OZ, followed by Northern OZ, I used to interact with a largeish group of Aussie preppers in the area of Narrabunda ACT, they were good guys. I think there is still a very good forum available called Australasian Survivaliist. They also used to do a news letter (The Narabunda crowd) which they used to send me , it took 8 weeks to get here by surface mail.

Interesting I see myself as a prepper and although that fits in with many green topics I do not see myself as a greenie.
Greenies are not generally preppers. They just fit in with many prepper topics.
The difference is that preppers are preparing for when the world goes TU. Greenies was to screw up the human population to fit their ideals.
