"There is a good lift onVHF frequencies at the moment giving good long distance comms, he has had a 200 mile contact .

preppers may wish to test out their comms systems.

These conditions will also support long distance communications on the 11m Classic CB bands. Communications on CB (FM modulated) between Scotland and southern UK and Scotland/ Ireland, UK/ Ireland will continue to occur from time to time as we move into summer.
