Emergency uses for a wheelie bin - uks - 4 January 2012

Wheelie bins are quite useful in an emergency have about lining it with heavy grade plastic sheeting and filling it with water.
I also thought about loading it with bug out equipment. Can you think of anything else/.

Wheely bins if accidentally obtained make great water butts, composts bins water filters, giant caches, fougasses, log stores, mushroom growers etc

I look at everything to see if it could be used for more that the purpose it was designed for. I dont read the main site i just use the forum.

That is fine but you should be aware there is more to this site than the forum. You are missing out of some things unless someone discusses it here.
