BOB Underwear? - Scythe13 - 23 June 2014

Just a quick question really.

There are loads of pictures of people's BOB's online. But few, if any, have any kind of underwear!

This is something I'm making sure I have with me. Spare set of clothes, 2 pairs of boxers, and 3 pairs of hiking socks, plus spare shoes (Vibram5F's).

Is this something you've thought about and if so, how much are you carrying?

The things closest to your skin you need more of like underwear and socks.

I like merino. Expensive but comfy and they absorb sweat well with no chaffing.
Edz aren't very good as there is not a lot of thigh space but smart wool are great

I thought the British were responsible for common use of the term "Commando" and left what was under the kilt up to the imagination??

RE: BOB Underwear? - bigpaul - 25 June 2014

you could go "commando" or better still wear a kilt!!Tongue

I have several pairs of lycra style Karrimor running/cycling shorts that make good underwear. Ray Mears does the same to prevent leeches and other undesirables attaching themselves.
