Buckwheat and other grainy things - NorthernRaider - 28 August 2014

I'm looking into the possibilities of Buckwheat after reading about it in the number 2 issue of BE READY from Shotgun news, it follows after conversations with two others on the E mail group about ensuring we don't each our ways into type two diabetes if we rely soley on tinned, dried and other long life foods.

Problem is Buckwheat is high in oils so will go rancid like brown rice does if not stored in an oxygen free environment. So I'm trying to find out about canning / jarring/ vac packing and oxygen absorbants..
