This week's solar storms - Jace - 13 September 2014

I was wondering how much this week's solar storms have been mentioned in the media in the UK? (have seen nothing here where I am in China)

While it appears that we haven't been affected by yesterday's solar ejections, NASA put out an article in July about what would have happened if the last one in 2012 had been as big as they feared (they figure it would've been as bad as the 1859 Carrington Event).

The only reference in the mainstream UK media has been about the possibility of seeing the "Northern Lights" further south than is usual.
