Hi from the South East - Tipi - 9 August 2015
Hi folks! Just a quick intro.
Firstly many thanks to you all for such a super informative forum, with lively discussions. It has helped my preps tremendously over the last couple of years.
I was brought up in the countryside in the days when the baker delivered the bread by horse and cart, our only electricity was from a generator and the water from a well. So I learnt a lot of useful make do and mend skills from parents who lived through WW2.
I've just retired having worked in many areas from air traffic control to marketing. So now is time to refine my plans.
As I live in a city my main concern is societal breakdown for whatever reason and being able to get to my BOL in the country on foot if there is a lockdown, with one or two family members and the dog in tow!
I look forward to continue learning from your combined wisdom and ideas. Sorry if my posts are a bit long!
