FYI there is a natty little book out called Do It Yourself 12Volt Solar power by Michel Daniek isbn 978-1-85623-072-8 its well worth adding to your library

sounds interesting. i have been looking at the idea of a power bank with those large 100 W,12V panels that fold into a briefcase. I will check it out =]
