so was this the best way to sort out this bloke , what I notices in our press was the questions they did not ask.
who else was in that car...
who was in the car behind or in front
who was walking down that street
was their any homes in that street.

As far as I'm concerned it was the best option, took him out and several of his henchmen.
From the images I've seen, it was done in an isolated area, so no bystanders or homes etc in the vicinity. More like a small ISIS convey in the desert.
Taking him alive would have risked the lives of more UK/US/Coalition forces, cost a lot more money and then we'd have had the years and years of legal proceedings and expense of "looking after him" into his old age!

I would think that they are all fair and valid targets...... surely we have sat aside with our liberal attitudes for far too long which is a large part of the problem?
