Because of terror threat much of the public transit systems are closed and chunks of the cell system are turned off just as happened in Paris last week and in Londonistan on 7/7, this often as is happening in brissels shops, pubs, diners and hotels being closed and the locals go home.
So some travellers are arriving in cities to find no local transport, deserted streets, their hotels closed and they cannot use their cell phones.
Urban preppers and visiting preppers alike need to be aware of the risk of being stranded without comms and plan accordingly.
My missis is off to Madrid next week and I'm going round the twist trying to work out options for a city I know sod all about.
