Catapult for hunting post SHTF - Rocks - 25 February 2016 Hey guys sorry if this has been done. I'm looking to buy myself a catapult. Mainly I will (hoping) be using it to hunt small game (rabbits, squirrel) Has anyone any experience of doing this? is a catapult an effective weapon? Long term plan is to take up archery (always been keen on this) but seeing how I am between cars at the minute I can't travel. Any recommendations on which type of catapult? Thanks alot! Small pebbles from the local gravel pit or acorns from the woods were best. There are downsides though, they take a lot of regular practice to master, the rubber degrades with both use and time, and the ammunition is heavy and bulky. For hunting small game I would take an air rifle every time, it's way better. But I seek further help (if that's not too much hassle) I seek a hunting catapult, preferably £30 or below, that I can practise targets with, then progress to hunting small game once I get my aim in. Any recommendations? |
