DIY-How to refill mini fuel canisters - Nemesis - 26 April 2016 I been looking into this of late and I find it could be a huge saving on gas needs, this video will show you a simple way to refill the Coleman gas cartridge. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZYT91czXmk I have seen it done with the calor gas bottles you just need buy an adapter. Just remember don't do this near any heat source, cig, combi boiler so on, I myself would do it outside. RE: DIY-How to refill mini fuel canisters - LawAbidingCitizen - 27 April 2016 Fantastic, thanks for the link. Have you tried this? If so did you get a good result. This guy mention an adapter you can buy which seems to make it easier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSfXU0RCYTQ RE: DIY-How to refill mini fuel canisters - Straight Shooter - 27 April 2016 There is a LPG refill adapter for sale on ebay £38.00 this will give you the option of filling your big gas bottles (in any garage that sells lpg ) fill up for a fraction of the cost of exchanging your bottle.....just type in LPG refill adaptor ....rock on amigo's RE: DIY-How to refill mini fuel canisters - NorthernRaider - 27 April 2016 That idea scares me, I was told that the little Coleman canisters had a use once membrane on the head that once the canister was screwed onto the cooker it should not be unscrewed???, but that was a long time ago so perhaps things are different now? RE: DIY-How to refill mini fuel canisters - Skean Dhude - 27 April 2016 Some cartridges have a resealable top. Maybe this would be best with one of those. RE: DIY-How to refill mini fuel canisters - Nemesis - 27 April 2016 You can now re-use them NR screw on screw off as much as you want. No I have not tried it yet because my Coleman canister still has gas in it. I will try get hold of the calor gas bottle refill adapter give that a go.
