This sounds like Iran are setting sides in a typical 'youre with us or against us' attitude.

More unrest around Syria. Things could get interesting over there. But it seems unrest in neighbouring countries could halt any 'negative' action from Iran. You wouldn't go to war when a nearby country is up in arms about something.
