The Complete Countryman by Alan Titchmarsh,

It covers alot of old traditional skills and crafts but does not go into to much detail but it has plenty of contact details to find out more. Theres an interesting section on survival plus gardening and animals, several recipes, making thing etc.

I've actually been looking into that myself, but didn't want to say. It looks to be a bit of a feathering cover of everything. It doesn't massively cover any single point. For a general oversite, it's a good buy. Especially for people that have very few UK based books.

Most of that stuff is available freely on t'interwebs. In morr depth too. I need to get a printer an laminator asap!
