hi all
just wanted to say hi and introduce myself, im not new to prepping and i cover a wide variety of things im prepping for, very much into generating my own power in case of grid down (witch happens a lot when you live on a little island). looking forward to learning more and helping if i can

I am not being oppositional or doubtful either, I really want to know.

How is your setup operated for internet connection on an island.

Is it a satellite up-link or ocean floor cable or what?

used to be satellite but now have fibre optic ocean floor cables giving around 80 mbs only got about 4 mbs on the satellite it was very slow
