Pandemic - Survival - Christoph Shepherd - 8 January 2019

Hi Guys

I'm new to the website the forum and this thread. So - Greetings Preppers! Get the Tuna in!

I may be new to the website but not to the subject matter. I have been studying the effects of Pandemic and how to survive it, and have written a book on the subject called "Pandemic Survival Preppers Mash-Up".

This is available from Amazon.co.uk at:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pandemic-Survival-Preppers-Christoph-Shepherd-ebook/dp/B07HLR3SX1/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1546971192&sr=8-1&keywords=pandemic+survival+preppers

If that doesn't "link" then just go to Amazon and search for "Christoph Shepherd" or else go to my temporary website:- http://www.pandemic-survival.com

I'd be grateful of any feedback and any reviews.

Thanks and Keep Prepping - Christoph

How would you survive a pandemic?Isolation would be the only answer!More worrying in the Yellowstone eruption in 2weeks time according to an expert.,which is said to be a bigger threat to mankind.

RE: Pandemic - Survival - SamTheGreenCat - 9 January 2019

But I suppose a huge eruption and a breakdown in public service could cause a pandemic, who knows?

RE: Pandemic - Survival - Christoph Shepherd - 9 January 2019

Hi Sam
"Isolation" is indeed the only "ultimate" answer but if your're the last man standing then you're only going to survive to the end of your lifetime and the human race is done for. Better to seek to survive with others who can (if you feel necessary) be quarantined!

For "survival" I think we have to look beyond the individual and seek survival for the human race itself.

A Yellowstone eruption of the kind envisaged by you would not necessarily cause a Pandemic, although the fall out would of course be massive. The breakdown of public service would be likely to lead to chaos and anarchy - all matters which need to be guarded against and prepped for.
Cheers Christoph

Great - thanks Charles. Very useful.

Welcome. Thanks for the information.

Yellowstone may be more worrying but Pandemic is more likely imo. It could happen any time. Regardless it is a risk we should be mitigating as much as possible. I can't mitigate Yellowstone I can only prep for surviving its effects and that prepping is already done under other risks.

Yes - we are now overdue for the next Pandemic. Is is not a question of "if" but "when".

RE: Pandemic - Survival - Straight Shooter - 11 January 2019

Hello and welcome CS , yes I keep an eye on this (amongst other stuff ) .

RE: Pandemic - Survival - Christoph Shepherd - 11 January 2019

Indeed. We'd all be much poorer without a sense of humour.
