POWER ? - Straight Shooter - 21 April 2020

Been thinking , with all of us in lock down and all at home making tea, tv on , heating on, computers on etc etc , we have not seen any overload or fail in the electricity supply ? gas supplies also seem ok ….alright we are coming into warmer time of year but what about fall and winter , will we still fair as well ? especially if industry starts up by then …..is that what is saving us right now ….lack of industry ?

Lack of industry will be why we have no bother

I thought one of you guys greatest complaints was a lack of industry? Everything being made, guess where? In China!!

Probably the lack of eating at public venues has lightened the load on the grid as much as anything.

Can you imagine how much electric and gas a singe good sized restaurant consumes daily?

Multiply that X every McDonalds and KFC on every motorway off-ramp across your nation.

Abundance of gas the same.

How about petrol? Do you have a glut yet?

I just yesterday bought petrol here at a price of one pound for 4 liters. Our money $1.30 US gallon. I have not seen it that cheap since the 1980s.
