HBR4HF Simple Transceiver - Lightspeed - 19 February 2021 RE: HBR4HF Simple Transceiver - Joe - 19 February 2021 I looked at this a while back and they also do a mono band rig for a cheaper price. 25w on 80m at night with a dipole around 6ft would give coverage out to 500-1000 miles. I've yet to hear one on air, but on paper they look fine. The 7 Mhz version ( 40m ) would probably be the one to go for as it gives th rangeyou mentioned, most of the day and night, using an antenna that's a bit more manageable length wise. |
