If you are a fugitive you must have given a good reason to become a person of interest to the PTB .....if you are a prepper I would have thought you would ave pre planed for just such a scenario being on the cards anyway? .....in which case you would have several caches in place and a few locations along with any weather clothing , five foot culvert concrete pipes Would be a good place to start , suspended by some pre cut 2” x 6” timbers to form a platform ......you will not be detected by any heat seeking cameras .....after two weeks the search would be panned out further .

Mort it might appear ridiculous from your view point but only because the authorities in charge are non hostile but that can easily change. Look back in history and during WW2 certain groups got hunted down.
To have the capability to move totally undetected is something all preppers should consider.
But it is just a game, I know you’re not a fugitive

skills and knowledge will go a lot further than any stockpile of food or caches will anyway.
without skills and knowledge no one will survive for long without modern services, sure any fool can survive off grid in the warm summer months but come the winter even in the mild south west of england will be a different scenario all together.
