Im going to post a sourdough starter recipe that im making from a recipe that an american friend has sent me. His starter was made over 50 years ago by his mother. Yeast needs to be fresh. If you buy dried active yeast, once opened, it should be used within two months, after this it starts to give a flatter bread. To produce more action try doubling your amount of yeast. Kenneth Eames. |
