Yes BP but it’s legal in your EDC, I normally use a froe at home but it would probably be classed as an offensive weapon if carried on the street. I suppose a simple steel wedge even one just 2in x 3in would do the job and not cause a problem (legally), drill holes to fix a handle to it (tomahawk stile) when we’re WROL.
.

I prefer the steel wedges rather than ruin a good knife, got several.

I had a cheap axe fail on me years back it got stuck in a log and getting it out made the axe snap by the head.
Iv been using that old axe head as good wedge now for years .

I have carried in my pocket a swiss army knife since the 1980s. I've been scanned in military establishments and courts so it has been seen but with no issues. I was told in a court that I couldn't go in with it and I could bin it but I refused and went home instead. 1 court case rescheduled which was fun and I was told off by Plods solicitor.

I would imagine though that in this Disney country if one was found on you at a riot then that may be different but so far nobody has tried to take it or arrest me for it.

I use a small folder as my EDC, you would never know by looking at me and I dont flash it about, I have never stabbed anyone nor will I ever.

For sometime i’ve been using a small daysack for EDC, you see them everywhere, students, business men etc.

I made sure neighbours and people my area saw me with it whenever i could, even if I just pulled a water bottle out of it while chatting, plenty of room for the usual stuff, and room for a bit of local shopping, drop it in the car behind the driving seat, always at hand.

I don’t think anyone takes any notice of it, hiding in plain sight.
