Always think prepping - uks - 2 February 2012 Here are a few things i think of when im out shopping. Always have a good look around where ever you are you may find something that you might need at a later date, or something that you could modify to help you. Things in the kitchen, yes mod cons work when there's power think about getting a manual version of something instead, never have to depend on electricity plus save money by not using electricity. I always get metal mixing bowls, measuring jugs, measuring spoons, wooden utensils no glass or ceramic to break. My theory is that if you have time to load as much as you can in a bug out situation glass and ceramic will break metal may get crushed but you can knock it back into shape. Just a couple of thoughts RE: Always think prepping - Skean Dhude - 2 February 2012 It's always worth doing this as this is how you spot the bargains. The items that are being sold off or on offer. Sadly it is a balance between time shopping and time on other things, including work. |
