All this stern stuff is all very well, but even the most serious prepper deserves a few goodies. If you could have just a couple of little luxuries to take with you, what would they be|?

Personally, I'm going to go girly (!) and say a supply of a decent cream for those tired and washworn hands, and supply of decent tea.
This thread has flown around a few times, and I think I change my luxury item every time ha.

I've found an amazing vanilla infusion tea. LOVE IT!!! I'm going with that.
im trying to cut chocolate from our diets so my mind is jumping straight to chocolate just now lol
Redbull.

Ive never thought about it really. The types of food I like that much are the sort of things that you just wouldnt be able to have. Stuff like chinese food or a pizza etc. Thus you'd be better off with something like a choc bar (assuming it doesnt go off).

Does a decent quilted toilet roll count as luxury?
Vodka.

A nice mellow kush and a copious amount of m&m's
Im defo with you on vodka!!! once the chocolate goes out of your system and you dont have it for ages, it can make you quite ill when you have it (i tried it a few years ago after quite a long break from eating any) im not normally a chocaholic :-( honest
Madgirl I had a simular expierence with fizzy drinks, think its the sugar overdose when your bodies not used to it.

Bread and butter and hotchocolate Big Grin
I think that luxury items are just as important as the basic diet, survival is about being in the right frame of mind as much as anything else,... so we have chocolate, diluted orange, dried fruit, boiled sweets, ration it all, have it as a special treat from time to time.... we don't drink, so all the boose is either for medical or barter
