I think SD has to activate it, its prolly to prevent trolls and spammers.

There is no waiting period for the contact db. It does however send out emails to validate the email address. There is a delay in this. The only other delay is if you want a SUK email then I have to do that manually. I do that twice a day usually.

yeah i had that a while ago, but then worked out how to register
just made the details the same as the forum one, makes it much easier
