you need to come to Devon and Cornwall for a decent Pasty or sausage roll, we DO drink Newcastle brown ale down here but we call it Newkey! cider is cheap if you know where to go, butchers and farm shops sell decent meat which can be traced back to the farm it came from.water is soft and drinkable not like that horrible hard stuff in Londonistan!!

TBH, it is nothing more than A-Level chemistry to be able to create anything from the air that is currently created from oil. The big problem is the energy cost of doing so.
Once we have cracked fusion and we have our flux capacitors that run on bin waste (which is not really that far from the truth, master fusion and we can run it on PCB's, nuclear waste, sewage and Harro Kitty pencil cases) rather than resources being finite, they are their to be recycled again and again with what can be an almost infinite energy source.

Must admit to being partial to a Hollands meat pie or two. 
Never been a fan of beer though, 
I been a rum & cider drinker, with the odd G `n` Tee thrown in, for neigh on 50 years now.

So, they've managed to make syn-gas from air, sodium hydroxide and electric. Nice, might give it a bash when the lab's back working.
Haven't been south of Mordor (Glasgow) in a long time. Miss proper Cornish pasties. May have to risk a trip sometime soon.
