RE: webbing styles. - Franc - 25 April 2013 im not sure about camalbaks, like a few bikers, i dont trust rucksacks, to easy to damage a spine in a crash, not sure how that applies to push bikes, but im still very wary about them, and a vest or webbing, will allow me to keep a radio handy, when i get one. RE: webbing styles. - Highlander - 25 April 2013 I carry my EDC items in these, they are big enough for most peoples needs,..and can be wore while out anywhere and not be noticed under a jacket http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170990582729?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 and I carry a legal penknife in this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GERMAN-ARMY-POLICE-P5-MAGAZINE-KNIFE-POUCH-/171019521158?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D7214402114045324303%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D171019521158%26 RE: webbing styles. - Scythe13 - 26 April 2013 This is something I'm looking at to go with a magazine molle system. Might suit your needs. http://www.nightgear.co.uk/511-Belt-511-VTAC-Brokos-Belt-Black/42269ngp.htm Or if you've not got much stuff, maybe something like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Belt-bag-bumbag-complete-water-bottle-choice-3-colours-/180857291665?pt=UK_SportingGoods_BackpacksRucksacks_Bags_EH&var=&hash=item6fc7e863f2 RE: webbing styles. - Mortblanc - 27 April 2013 You will come out cheaper and carry more in the long run! http://www.discountramps.com/bike-cargo-trailer.htm RE: webbing styles. - Franc - 27 April 2013 probably getting one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bicycle-cargo-trailer-bike-bicycle/dp/B007TJLQHG/ref=sr_1_65?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1367094024&sr=1-65&keywords=bicycle+trailer for camping, 90liter capacity. bit hard to get through cycle path blocks though, need to be lifted over gates, or stiles. when shtf, i can mount a larger solar panel on the top, over the load space. and adding dynos to the wheels, to trickle charge batteries. oh and stick an antenna for a radio hidden as a warning flag. RE: webbing styles. - Hex - 28 April 2013 i would reccomend looking at molle webbing. you need to make sure its good stuff though not just cheap paintball/airsoft ripoff stuff personally i like condor. with molle you can totally customise your rig down to the minutest detail and its pretty fast to change stuff if you decide you want something moved or if you want to add something new. im not sure what your meaning for actually mounting the gear though. if its not a belt you want you could look at a chest rig or a vest. but if your just after something that you could still use and blend in then i would suggest a day sack for EDC RE: webbing styles. - BeardyMan - 3 May 2013 http://www.military1st.co.uk/products/10711020-south-african-assault-vest-woodland.html?gclid=CN3a35KG-rYCFVMftAodomUAgQ Got one of those going for £18 if you're interested? RE: webbing styles. - bigpaul - 3 May 2013 looks sort of familiar?? RE: webbing styles. - BeardyMan - 3 May 2013 I should think so too Unfortunately I look even more weird and undesirable wearing it than I normally do, so I've been banned from wearing it and told I need to get rid! Shame, cause it's really comfortable, has loads of pockets etc and with the two big pockets on the back it's perfect for a day out. Bloody women.
