Depending on the situation looting could begin almost immediately, especially in some sections of society.

no not immediately, the poor souls have got to realise something is happening first, then first off they wont believe it, it'll take a few hours before they ACTUALLY do anything!!

Yeah as soon as people start buying everything in stores people will start to panic and looting will start soon after.

Or, looting will happen as the sign that the poop has hit the fan.....think London riots. Looting before shelves emptying, but also looting AS shelves emptying mechanism.

Looting will take place afternoons and evenings. The buggers can't get up until their Giro's have arrived and they have slept off last nights booze/wacky baccy
