My little perpetual calendar like the one you linked to is good until 2050, so should see me out.

Watchs here are winder, automatic and a kinetic. We also have a large and noisy wind up lounge clock that dates back to the 1950s and is still going strong.

Answering the original question: any electonic watch (analogue or digital) could be susceptible to EMP. Winders and automatics are EMP proof, but are susceptible to magnetic fields.

why not Google and print off future calendars now and have them ready for the next 300 years? failing that will the date ready matter that much when trying to survive ?

Becoz in freeundred years our ancestors will see their calenders expire and think the end of the world is 2313 and the doomers will panic like they did over the Mayen calender Smile
