The links provide good options for securing EDC if there is not a firearm imvolved.
Here in the US I routinely carryva firearm, and recomended practice is that any firearm not carried on your person must be secured, otherwise it is not under your "control".
The vehicle vault I mentioned in my previous post meets legal requirements for secure storage when transiting through cities or states which do not recognize my concealed carry permit.
