Dehydrated potatoe is worth buying, in fact, all dehydrated food is worth buying. It weighs a great deal less than the food you buy in shops and if you store it correctly, will keep for many years. You reconstitute it and cook in the normal way or use it to make soups or stews. If you use a Hay Box it saves on fuel as well. I recently dehydrated two Kilos of Carrots and Have them in a plastic bag that I can hold in one hand. Wonderful food in an emergency. Kenneth Eames.
