RE: Allotment & food storage - Luci_ferson - 2 April 2013 im not a brocoli lover anyway. but ive eatent the purple one, and I couldn't tell any difference. but I don't eat it often enough to have noticed probably only have broccoli about 3 times a year. that will change now we have a allotment though cos my OH loves the stuff. homegrown is bound to have a better flavour than the shop bought though. everything else does.
