Lightspeed thats a nice piece of kit but Ã‚Â£250 is a bit more than some people will want to pay, especially as being dispersed there might not be another prepper in range!
Can you recommend an "entry level" (a.k.a. 'cheap') piece of kit?

Hey guys I May be onto something, I did more digging on this INTEK H520 , its supposedly the best selling handset in the UK for CB and I think I know why.

Its multi channel multi NATIONAL configeration means that as well as doing 26 to 28 mhz, apparent it also does the 28 to 30 mhz of the amatuer 10 meter band cos that ( I think ) is what the poles and ruskies use.

I've just ordered one!!!
