RE: Chickens - TOF - 16 April 2012

Have you had the pleasure of Kamikaze Chickens yet? My girls would stick to me like poo to an army blanket when I was digging. They would dive into the hole before I could turn the soil over and end up buried. What a chicken will do for a worm!

RE: Chickens - grumpy old man - 16 April 2012

what would you do with chicken poo?
is there much from say 50 birds?

RE: Chickens - TOF - 17 April 2012

There would be a fair bit from 50 birds. You can do the same with it as other manure. Stack it and leave it to cool and rot down for a year, then dig into the garden. Wonderful stuff is chicken poo!

Plenty of protein in worms Mike and of course in chicken! You still eat them. Kenneth Eames.
