Shooting rats on Thursday night, my friend has an "in" with a farmer.
Any pointers? Apart from shoot the little fuckers?

yeah dont pick them up with bear hands ,and blend your bait up so they have to stop and eat ,and hope you have more luck than i did with traps the little shits nicked the bait not setting off the hair trigger trap ,dont want to talk about it

Will I need a red filter for my head torch? Or will it be okay as it is?
I did offer to bring the crossbow and dog, but was told not to

i wouldnt worry about the red filter, use the brightest light you can to spot em scurrying about.
No explosions! crap, I already packed the dynamite.
